Australian potter John Dermer, our good friend, told us sad news yesterday.
Peter Rushforth passed away yesterday morning.
He is the most influential Australian potter of the 20th century.
He was also a very kind and fascinating man.
When we visited him, he and his wife welcomed us.
I still remember that they took our children to see horses at their neighbourhood farm.
Even though he was a very famous potter, and many potters respected him,
he was never too proud, he had a good sense of humour and he was an openhearted man.
I'd like to write my Condolences here.
We pray that his soul may rest in peace.
Thank you very much.
